Greeting form the Director

Over 10 years ago, researchers of child research in Japan, Korea, China, and Taiwan gathered a
nd founded Asian Society of Child Care.
Since then, we have been issuing an academic journal called "The Asian Journal of Child Care" every year.
Also, we have had a research conference once a year in Beijing, Busan, Seoul, Taipei, Gaoxiong,
Ho Chi Minh City, Tsukuba, Fukuoka, and Sendai.

Many participants gathered from each country and had active discussion about their researches.
Especially, young researchers was given opinions from researchers from each country
and had meaningful discussion.

However, there have been issues such as international situation and economic problem in the society
so it is difficult to continue the activities we had so far.
We discussed with many people and positioned Asian Society of Child Care
as an international academic society who issue academic web journal and continue with our activities.

We hope that it will be a place to transmit their academic achievements for people who research child care i
n Asia and research who subject their research in Asian countries and area.
